i-CREATe 2019

The 13th international Convention on Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology (i-CREATe 2019) will be held on August 26 – 29, 2019 at in Canberra, Australia.

Into its 13th year, i-CREATe continues to provide an international platform of conference, Student Innovation Contest, and exhibition featuring innovative technology, equipments, applications, techniques and materials applied in the field of Assistive & Rehabilitative Technology. It is also a stage for technical exchanges to share ideas and best practices in the disabilities field from across the countries.

This conference will include a range of workshops on the types of assistive technologies available for use in education and employment. There will also be presentations by people with disabilities using technologies in their daily lives, including education, training and employment.

Plenary Session

i-CREATe 2019 is the stage you need to visit and join advocates, researchers and professionals from across the countries at plenary sessions, workshops, forums and scientific presentations to discuss how assistive and rehabilitation technology is integrated in education, living and working environment for Persons with Disability.

Workshop Session

Workshop Proposals
The workshops are in-depth, interactive, hands-on sessions in the above listed topic areas. Proposals for workshops are evaluated by the technical committee.

Special Session Proposals
Proposals for organized sessions that address specialized or general topics on Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology are encouraged. Once accepted, organizer(s) of the special sessions are responsible for the soliciting of relevant papers, which will be subjected to the same review process.

Continuing Education Unit (CEU)
CEUs will be offered in partnership with the AAC Institute, for all workshops and paper presentation sessions attended. The AAC Institute has been reviewed and approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
